Smoothie milkshakes contain more calcium for young children which is very beneficial and healthy for their growing teeth and bones. Smoothie milkshakes are also ideal for those children or indeed adults, who do not like the plain taste of milk and who would not drink milk on its own.

The milkshakes are a great way to disguise the flavour of the milk by adding into the smoothie milkshake some frozen fruit of your choice. Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, pineapple, mango, kiwi…the list is endless.

Bananas in particular are a great source of potassium providing good sustaining fibre as well as vitamins B6 and C. This type of smoothie milkshake is really good for sporty children to keep their energy level stable over a long period of time.

Smoothie milkshakes are a great way to help very small children or the elderly or those who have trouble swallowing to consume some healthy and natural ingredients without any solid food getting stuck in their throats.
